Suede boots with corduroy trousers
Two textured surfaces work best when their shapes remain easy to read.

Separate the textures by scale
Corduroy and suede both absorb light differently from smooth leather or crisp cotton. Together they can make an outfit feel soft and substantial. The combination does not require matching browns. Try a dark trouser with lighter boots, or keep the colours close and let the different surfaces provide the distinction. The useful question is whether you can still see the outline of each piece.
Wide cord ribs are more noticeable than fine ones. A heavily detailed boot adds another layer of information, so a relatively plain upper can be a helpful partner. This is not a ban on stitching or laces. It is a way to avoid choosing every element for maximum texture and then wondering why the outfit feels crowded.
Fit the hem around the boot
Put on the boots before deciding the trouser length. A substantial toe and raised sole take up more space than a low shoe. The hem should fall without being trapped on the shaft. Walk and sit to see whether it returns to place. If it catches, additional width may be more useful than adding length.
A rolled cuff can show the corduroy's texture, but it also adds weight. A thick turn-up above a broad boot may create a large block at the ankle. Try the trousers unrolled as a comparison. You may prefer a quieter transition, particularly when the upper half of the outfit already includes a chunky knit or a heavy coat.
Keep the weather decision separate
Suede boots can look at home in an autumn outfit, but that appearance does not establish their suitability for heavy rain. Check the construction and the maker's guidance. Use care products only as directed for the particular finish. A protective treatment is not a promise that every shoe can be worn through every condition without consequences.
For the rest of the outfit, a plain shirt or fine knit leaves the two lower textures visible. A smooth coat can create a useful contrast with the cord ribs. You do not need to add a corduroy jacket or suede accessory to complete the idea. One pair of trousers and one pair of boots already establish it.
After wear, allow the boots to dry naturally if needed and brush according to the care instructions. Hang or fold the trousers in a way that avoids crushing them into a tight bundle. Looking after the surfaces helps preserve the reason you chose this combination in the first place.
